CV Workshop

On the 28th of April, the Singapore Society hosted a CV workshop with guests from Linklaters, Freshfields, Ashurst and Eversheds. They shared invaluable advice and perspectives with attendees regarding the pursuit of a legal career in London. The guest solicitors provided an impeccable analysis of the difference in firm culture between an American and Magic Circle firm, how to maximise chances of a successful vacation scheme/training contract application, and further career developments post-graduation.

In addition, a big thank you to all the second and third year students who spared time to share their experiences with their chosen optional modules. It was a great help to know more about the lecturer’s style of teaching, method of assessment and challenges they faced with each module.
