Although highly urbanised, Singapore is also known for being a 'Garden City', and has also been described as a melting pot of cultures. She also boasts a diverse variety of multicultural cuisines.

UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM.

The University of Nottingham is a public research university located in Nottingham, England. It has been placed 82nd in the world by the latest (2021) QS World University Rankings. With award-winning campuses in the United Kingdom, China and Malaysia, it can truly be considered a global university.​

SINGAPORE SOCIETY.

The University of Nottingham Singapore Society was set up to provide a greater support network for Singaporean students pursuing their studies in the University of Nottingham. We strive to be family to all Singaporean students here, and aim to be ambassadors of our country and our culture to our foreign friends.

Throughout the academic year, we organise a huge range of activities and events like sports, socials and trips for our members. Our flagship event is the annual inter-university Winter Games, usually held in November. The Games bring together Singaporean students from all over the UK for a day of fun and bonding through sports and games. In addition, being a Singapore Society member entitles you to exclusive discounts from various shops and restaurants in Nottingham!
